I contacted with Nathan Downie for original Art that I hope one day will wind up on my book cover.
At first I was nervous because I found this artist, Nathan Downing, on a FB site, so didn’t know him. Also, he lives in the UK and me in the USA. But the Art he posted on FB caught my attention.
I reached out to him and we started working on design, him sketching out what was in my brain, over and over. Nathan was very patient, and easy to work with. Every time I asked for a change in the sketch, I expected to hear a sigh of exasperation, but never once did. It was yes mama, let me get back to you. And he did, promptly, every time until we nailed it.
I am very pleased with the final artwork I now have hanging on my wall. It was professionally shipped and in perfect condition. It was the first original Art I have designed and purchased and it is very special.
I still enjoy talking with Nathan and consider him a friend.
I would highly recommend Nathan to anyone considering him because he is not only very talented and creative, he is professional, trustworthy, and kind.
